3- لا يترتَّب على الرؤى حكمٌ شرعي
بخلاف الضالِّين من الصوفية، ممن جعلوا الرؤى من مصادر التلقِّي، فيقول قائلهم: كُشِفتْ لنا الأستارُ، فرأى القطبُ الأكبر الصلاةَ النورانية، وما عَلِم هؤلاء الأغرارُ الجهلة أن الرؤيا لا تصلح أن تكون تشريعًا، وإذا كان ذلك للأنبياء، فإنها لا تكون لأحدٍ بعدهم، ولو اعتَرَض علينا معترضٌ برؤيا عبدالله بن زيد وعمر بن الخطاب - رضي الله عنهما - للأذان، وأنها أُقِرَّت، نقول: لم تكن لتشرع، و لا لتصبح دينًا، ما لم يأمُرِ النبيُّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم - الصحابةَ به، ويقرَّهم عليه، فما سوى رؤيا الأنبياء بشاراتٌ ونُذُر، قد تقع كما رأَوْها، أو أنها تفسر
4- لا يُحدث بها أحد
فإن كانت الرؤيا صالحة، فلْيحمدِ اللهَ عليها، ولا يحدِّثْ بها إلا مَن يحب، ويسأله تحقيقها، ولا يخبر بها حاسدًا ولا جاهلاً.
5 - الرؤيا فتوى
لا يتحدِّث فيها أحدٌ إلا عن علم؛ ﴿ يَا أَيُّهَا الْمَلَأُ أَفْتُونِي فِي رُؤْيَايَ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ لِلرُّؤْيَا تَعْبُرُونَ ﴾ [يوسف: 43] وسئل مالك: أيعبر الرؤيا كلُّ أحد؟ قال: أبالنبوة يُلعب؟

عن عائشة - رضي الله عنها - قالت: كانت امرأةٌ من أهل المدينة لها زوجٌ في التجارة، فأتتْ رسولَ الله - صلى الله عليه وسلم - فقالت: إن زوجي غائبٌ وتركني حاملاً، فرأيتُ في المنام أن سارية بيتي انكسرتْ، وأني ولدتُ غلامًا أعورَ، فقال: ((خيرٌ، يرجع زوجُك - إن شاء الله - صالحًا، ويكون غلامًا برًّا))، فذكرتْ ذلك ثلاثًا، فجاءتْ ورسولُ الله - صلى الله عليه وسلم - غائب، فسألتْها عائشةُ فأخبرتْها بالمنام، فقالتْ عائشةُ: لئن صدقتْ رؤياك، ليموتن زوجُك، وتلدين غلامًا فاجرًا، فقعدتْ تبكي، فجاء رسول الله - صلى الله عليه وسلم - فقال: ((مه يا عائشة، إذا عبرتُم الرؤيا، فاعبروها على خير؛ فإن الرؤيا تكون على ما يعبرها صاحبها))؛ رواه الدرامي في سننه، وحسَّن الحافظ إسناده في "الفتح"

3- No legal ruling is based on dreams
This is contrary to the misguided Sufis who have made dreams a source of divine revelation. One of them says, "The veils were lifted for us, and the great Qutb saw the luminous prayer." These ignorant and misguided people do not know that dreams are not suitable for legislation. If this was the case for the prophets, it is not for anyone after them. Even if someone were to object to us with the dreams of Abdullah ibn Zayd and Umar ibn The statement—may God be pleased with them both—regarding the call to prayer (adhan) and its approval, we say: it would not have been legislated, nor would it have become part of the religion, unless the Prophet—may God’s prayers and peace be upon him—commanded it of the Companions and approved of it. Everything other than the visions of the prophets is glad tidings and warnings, which may come to pass as they saw them, or they may be interpreted.
4- One should not tell anyone about it
If the vision is good, then one should praise God for it and not tell it except to that one love, asking Him to fulfill it. One should not tell it to an envious or ignorant person.
5- A vision is a religious ruling (fatwa)
No one should speak about it except with knowledge. “O assembly, explain to me my dream, if you are able to interpret dreams.” [Yusuf 12:43] Malik was asked: “Can everyone interpret dreams?” He replied: “Is prophecy something to be trifled with?”
6 - Interpreting it with good tidings
On the authority of Aisha - may God be pleased with her - she said: There was a woman from the people of Medina whose husband was away in trade. She came to the Messenger of God - may God bless him and grant him peace - and said: My husband is away and left me pregnant. I saw in a dream that the pillar of my house broke, and that I gave birth to a one-eyed boy. He said: ((Good tidings. Your husband will return - God willing - in good health, and he will be a righteous boy)). She mentioned this three times. Then she came while the Messenger of God - may God bless him and grant him peace - was away. Aisha asked her about it, and she told her about the dream. Aisha said: If your dream is true, your husband will die, and you will give birth to a wicked boy. So, she sat down and wept. Then the Messenger of God - may God bless him and grant him peace - came and said: ((Stop it, Aisha. When you interpret a dream, interpret it with good tidings, for a dream comes true according to how its owner interprets it)). It was narrated by Al-Darami in his Sunan, and Al-Hafiz considered its chain of transmission to be good in “Al-Fath”.
